Firstly..

i have a computer downstairs and i am considering changing the motherboard in hope it would improve performance.. its got a 2700 'AMD processor 1.5 gb ram and a ATI 9550 radeon 256mb so decent i guess?

but its was initally bought from a manufactuer.. so the problem is... would i beable to use the reload CD provided with a new motherboard? or would i have to reinstall and wipe out my old hardisk...?

next problem...

is there a difference between micro SD and mini SD and transflash memroy =S becos.. i need a 2gb memory card for my new phone (nokia 5300) and i have no idea what to get... and where to find them.

but i am not sure its the right one for the phone.. it says online:

* MicroSD hot swap memory card reader with support for up to 2 GB memory (available separately) **

* Up to 5MB free internal user memory

the cheapest so far was from ebuyer..

http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/117006

but i am not sure its the right one (N)

Your computer is getting on a bit... In my opinion it wouldn't be worth changing just the motherboard (What were you hoping to achieve anyway?). Unless you mean the CPU. But again it's probably not really worth it. Depending on the type of CPU and motherboard, you can probably go up to a 3200+ max, which is not that much of a difference. Best thing you can do is probably a format and reinstall of everything, that usually speeds things up.

Transflash is the same as mini-SD, I don't know about Micro-SD, it's probably the same also.
