lawrence osborn
Hey people,With my new wheel sitting in my room i thought to myself as i was board, i might aswell put the tyre and tube on so started it getting the first side of the tyre on got so far starte to get harder to get on, so i got a knife and used it as a lever to get the tyre on, got so far and the knife was bending and the tyre wouldnt budge. I thought this is strange as it fitted ok on my t pro which is th same size rim even though that took a bit of getting on it was much easier than triying to get it on my echo?? If anyone knows how to get it back on an easier way please tell me because it annoyed me so much :$Cheers Lawrence feels like nmc all over again :$ Edited December 24, 2006 by lawrence osborn
King C
Get some proper tyre levers and a bit of welly and if that fails then try some fairy washing up liquid to act as a kind of lube. Ben Beckett
i used proper tyre levers to put my michelin tyre on my try-all rim and it bent the levers.take them back, get new ones bought some for 2 quid..........had bout 10 quids worth in free levers cuz they bent or snapped i usually find if you don't put too much tyre in the rim, do loads of small bits with the tyre lever, takes extra time, but is easier i find. (if you get mi)
Egg Fried Rice
along the beads somewhere on the tyre, is a bit thats stretch usually. it usually comes out of the shape of the tyre if there is.if so, leave the bit till last because it'll be so much easier.JK
