What Fork Is This?

Ashtons. That's a 24" bike, I haven't heard about Fatty's having 24" mounts?

Good point :P

Strange, I didn't even register it was a 24", lol.

Might also be Base forks in that case, the finish looks too good to be re-sprayed Ashtons (unless done professionally of course)

Edit: Base and Ashton forks are the same thing I believe

Just get Zoo forks, they're really similar and probably better. My Ashtons have a crooked disc mount which was so bad it couldn't even be faced. Needed to be bent away :ermm:

Adam: how come you haven't got the "This post has been edited by..." under your post?

Because he hadn't left the topic or something, it's something like that, or a cerain amount of time.

The identiti adaptors may not fit as they are designed for the park/rebate fork and they might be a different diameter to the zoo.

The ashton/base forks aren't that good anyway, they had a habit of snapping due to the desgin of the double mounts. They would good forks with either 26" (like they do now) or 24" mounts. Plus setting up a vee for 24"is annoying because the 26" bit gets in the way.

pashleys are best or knifen lights.

If you add a reply within a certain time-frame it get's addes into your previous post, that's one way, but you can't edit what you've allready written. I'd Imagine in this case he's just showing his thought process????

  • 2 weeks later...

hes an SM, we can choose not to have the 'edit by.... ' bit in our edits....

edit: just realised adams tartybikes account isnt listed as an SM, although having asked danny about this a while ago, theres some sort of second group membership, which adam has on his TB account giving his normal member user SM status.
