Middleburn Crank Help

Pretty much just more ground clearance. I ride an 18T sprocket with a 16T bash and get good chain protection and ground clearance (a bit too much really, can't hit a wall with my bash).

The downsides of having a 16T chainring are that your chain will snap more easily. I'd go for 18 or 20 any time.

In my experience the super pro has been very sketchy due to chain snappage whilst riding my mates bike. Admittedly it was aa a result of using a tiny cog on the back but it wasn't safe.

I agree the super pro does look abit slicker but at the end of the day both do the job - both won't fail on you and im not expert but I wouldn't think 1/1.5 cm difference clearance is really that important.
