joetrials06
Basically i run a hs33 and i love it when it works but i spend all my time replacing the tpa's and i don't like the way you have to bleed them. So i was wondering if you can run a hs33 caliper with a hope lever. If anybody has already done this a pic would be great.
TheMunn
No, you can't for many reasons I can't be bothered to explain. But, no.
Broomer
it has been done by the all knowing pete wright . dont see the point though, just replace the tpa with a cut down bolt.
Krisboats
I think its the hope C2 lever, just have a look for pete's thread in the new members area. He had to do a load of polishing and seal changing and random stuff like that though.
RobinJI
Nah, its simple enough. Hope C2 lever, Maggie caliper, Hope hose with maggie fittings one end, and hope fittings the other. Bleed with water. Done, you have one spongy pain in the arse to set up break.Just get a Deng lever and metal TPA wheel on an 05 lever, or a fresh products lever on 04, then the TPA shouldn't break. Greetings
Did it. You need one screw making.Downsides:- Spongy lever- Pads need to be no further than ~1mm from the rim- Your rim has to be perfectly true- You might break your frame if you press the lever a bit too hard? RobinJI
What screw do you need making?
