paul-m-
last night after just getting my bike back from getting it repaired my hub started making a unhealthy noise but i kept on riding anyway and it got worse and after checking this morning i am certain its the bb's in the hub are pooped. so now i need a new rear hub and i am considering a hope pro2, has anyone got one and are they any good. jackamory
There good hubs but if you have the money definantly get a chris king hub they last years.
paul-m-
cheers for the help but i had a wee look on tarty and nearly every 26" rider uses a pro2 over a chris king.

Mike Beck
owning a king myself id chhose a king over a poo2 any day, if you have money that is........ yeah the poo2's are louder, cheaper etc......... they kings are stronger with the 8mm bolts/heavy duty axle etc..., less likely to skip, plus no ratchets.people will say 'kings are too much trouble' but when they're right.....kings rule all o'erlewis Edited December 22, 2006 by lewis69

RobinJI
Yeah, definitely sounds like a good decision. If you think about it, surely the way that people argue over which ones a better hub in general even with money no-issue, yet ones over £100 cheaper, kinda shows which one makes more sense to get. SubZero
No Chris King Hubs ARE better than Hope ....it's just a fact! And even Alic can't do anything against it!72engagement points against 42 and king's doesnt snap! But to be honest....The Hope is a lot cheaper and nearly as good as...so good choice dude! CurtisRider
king's doesnt snap! yes they do...id plump for a pro 2 over a king, ive had both and the pro 2 was certainly in a totally different league, im confident with it and its cheaper those extra eps you get dont make any real difference, infact i preferred fewer
