A!!
I've got that today, it really hurts. I've got it on the lower part of my back It was after i had been for a ride on my bmx round town, just pulling 180's and manuals. I got back in, sat down for a bit, went to stand up and my back aches like a mother hucker. So i'm sat here now trying to sit as straight as i can to stop it hurting. I also put some muscle relaxant stuff on in the hope that it would help the pain

Guest
I did something a few weeks back actually, isn't sore now or anythign but at the time I couldn't even sit straight.I was climbing down some rocks (on bike) using the front wheel to keep the bike in position, hopping from one rock to another right at the end did it, both wheels touched the rock's at the same time, but my lower back just literally gave up, I did feel somewhat winded, but could still breathe (tight??) but yeh after ten minutes of sitting in a foetal position I was ok. Yeah it was bloody freezing this morning when i went out, and really foggy, and me being me didn't do any stretches or warm up a bit. Just got on and started riding around. And that was also what my mum said to me, something like "oh you've got cold in your back", in a mother like way. Fishy
If it's lower back pain it could be your kidneys. I have this problem when I go out to parties and get smashed, and when I ride and sweat alot. I almost forget to drink. I've got it at the moment. It's very much like a cramp pain, if it's the same for you I advise you drink plenty of fluids (minus alcohol). Fishy
I've got a warm pad when it gets bad in the even, and oat bags that you put in the microwave that old people have. They did wonders. (not the old people)

(not the old people) I've just been using one of them wheat bags as it happens, whack it in the microwave for 2mins, then apply it to the area that hurts. Seems to of helped as well

poopipe
its obviousyou've got the aidsseriously though - if it doesn't leave you alone after a week or so go visit a doctor and get referred to a physiotherapist. Physio on here is all good but I don't see a certificate saying chartered physiotherapist on his office wall..

I think i need to use the wheat bag more though, it seems to help a lot.
Tomm
Ibuprofen is good.If you have back pain from riding, you've probably over stretched a muscle or something so you just need to rest it. You can take ibuprofen which takes away the pain, but also reduces the muscle spasm which helps the pain too.I had back pain from riding when I first started, it goes
