Onza Kieron
I use XC, never had any problems for dirt although the axle does go bang when street is introduced, things like 6ft+ drops and stair sets above 10 but if you ain't doin any of that then it will be fine. paolo
Shimano XT, Deore you would do fine acutally... Oooh and change the axle to a full on bolt-on one if you can, theyr'e way more reliable... Edited December 20, 2006 by paolo

_skj0lsvik_
Actually I'm just using a standard shimano xt. Works good for me, never had any problems.. But then again, I'm using a decent full suspension bike now.Shimano isnt THAT bad.
ollie2000
go for the hope pro 2 if you want gears
26inch
Id go for a pro2 trials if you have the money, thats what i use on my street/dirt bike and its mint, havin proper bolts makes so much difference to stiffness. Id certainly steer clear of shimano hubs, or any other hub with loose bearings. If yo cant afford hope go for one of dmr's hubs
