TomR
I know most batteries are batteries, but any that anybody reccommends, something theyve been superly impressed with over other manufacturers? Something that will probably be in jessops/other similar shops as i want to get them before christmas to keep my camera juiced up.
tomturd
NiMH rechargeable? These are good - http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=570 - check the reviews, you should find them at the shops just at a much higher price I imagine. If you haven't got a charger I recommend it, got a 1 hour charger and about 20 AA + 8 AAA batteries for about £40 over 2 years ago (enough batteries for everything I own). Haven't had to buy a battery since, and when they run out, rather than going to the shop, just charge them for an hour and your back in business. Quite a big outlay, but well worth it in the long run.(Rechargable batteries used to be shite back in the day, but now they work well - half decent ones are better than standard duracell/energiser ones)
Si-man
The jessops 2500 batteries are good, £13.99 for 4 i think they were, best ones they had.theseIts £8.99 on net, £13.99 in shops
Fixed Pants™
Uniross 4TW! Get highest MW you can and you'll be fine. (rechargable)
Rob_P
All the batteries mentioned are very good!! However, personally if I was buying batteries right now I'd get the new Sayno eneloops!! Sayno claim that they work in colder conditions than normal rechargeables and over a period of 1 year keep 80% of a full charge. If you charge some batteries, leave them for a month and go to use them, they go flat really quickly. So it's to prevent that sort of thing. From what i've seen there about the same price as normal rechargeables anyway. [attachmentid=8882]CLICK

TomR
Cheers guys, i got the energizers in the end, a tenner for 4 from boots but i'll probably get another set of different ones too so i can differentiate between the 2, save mixing and matching half charged batteries.
