Fishy
Right guys, I've got a video camera from aldi a while back for quite cheap. The quality of the videos is excellent on Vlc player. BUT on windows media player and windows movie maker its quite 'choppy' and slow if that makes sense. I have downloaded the second windows thingy so i can get media player 11, but still no luck.Is there any video editors that i can use instead of windows movie maker which are as simple, or even simpler?Or can i download something to make it less choppy and slow? Orgun_Donor
you could always try pinnicle studio 10(not free unless your from the sea)I found it really easy to get to grips with and produce some goodish clips.

PaRtZ
I found when editing wmv's in adobe they were choppy and the sound was badly dubbed. Try changing the format to divx if possible (google virtualdub)Also can you post more info, are you talking about raw footage or movies you've made? what file format are they? pc spec? camera spec etc etc
Fishy
Computers a nail, cameras a nail. The footage is coming straight off the camera, so when i try and play it, the sounds at normal speed, but the picture is at another speed. It works fine in Vlc player, but I want to make a film with it and windows movie maker is the same as Media player.
