haydon_peter
¡Forward, Russia! - Give me a wall. it's an excellent record!Agreed. To add to this thread I recomend:Refused - The Shape of Punk to ComeYou will not be disappointed if you like hardcore rock, imo its among the most influential album of the 90's, if I had to select my top 10 albums it would be included for sure Also you cant go wrong with any Rage Against the Machine albums
Josephine
10,000 Days by Tool. Watch out! was so shit after their amazing self titled, and crisis is just about inbetween the two first albums.I think I've got to agree with you here. Watch out is okay for the odd track like Control but 'Where No One Knows' and 'Pulmonary Archery' kinda put it to shame. The new album's okay but I don't like all the songs. This could be anywhere in the world is bestest though
Davey
Refused - The Shape of Punk to ComeYou will not be disappointed if you like hardcore rock, imo its among the most influential album of the 90's, if I had to select my top 10 albums it would be included for sure Good choice! It's pure genius that they called that album "The Shape of Punk to Come" because modern hardcore is now a massive scene and they pretty much invented it... it's as if they knew! But I have to say I prefer the earlier "Songs to fan the flames of discontent" album. But either way Refused are a good choice, they tend to appeal to a wide range of people too, so you're unlikely to be disappointed, they were a great band and had the rare quality of actually sounding like they meant what they were saying!Davey
