hi people,

Some of you may think that I am a little stupid asking this but if you don't ask you'll never know, right?? :)

I am wanting to know the difference between mod and stock bikes...

I thought that they were just 20" bikes with extras but was recently told that they were 26" bikes with upgraded frames such as horizontal drop-outs etc.

This confused me and I was wondering if someone could just tell me what the difference is?? lol (Y)(Y)

Cheers.. CJ

Yeah, your confusion probably came from a new set of frames called 26" mods. This is a stupid name, but basically, they are stocks, they just have dropouts that are designed to take the narrower hubs normally designed for 20" bikes.

But yeah, ignore Deng trying to re-name stuff and 20" bikes are mods and 26" bikes are stocks.
