Pedals For Street Use?

Hey dude. Im not liking this 'buy double caged pedals so your not bothered when they die' - not good. At the end of the day you will get through 2 sets of double caged pedals in the same time as one pair of fairly decent(such as shindigs) which don't cost double as much. So if you do the math works out better to get decent pedals. Not only this but double caged pedals arent nice to ride with atall! for so many reasons.

To save money you should just replace the pins on your V8's, but if the non-replacable pins have worn right down that might not be enough. i'm using caged pedals on my mod for street riding because thats what came on the bike an there fine but they will wear down, when they do i'm goin to get either V8's or slim jims. Flat pedals are just better.

But double caged pedals last ages, ive had a set last a year nd a half and have only just rplaced mine, the cages bend quick but never break. If your riding natural platform pedals are fine, but as soon as they go near street the pins fall out unless you never use your pedals for getting up stuff etc
