echo_rob
I have got about £400 to spend on a new bike and just wondered which bike to get. Here is site with the cheapest prices around, (you should be able to find the bikes):www.trialsshop.co.ukThe t-pro is lighter I think and is less cash. I already have some maggie's to put on the bike.thanks Edited December 18, 2006 by saracen_rob
Tylerlovesalex
I would say go for the t-pro as you said lighter and you have maggies for it its a perfect learning and more! I had a t-mag for 4 months i loved it at first but as i progressed i started to hate it. t-pro for the win mate. tyler.
Muel
Get the T-PRO, i have one and my mate has a T-MAG, we both agree to get a T-PRO, the mags are heavier and snap more easily, make sure that your maggies are four bolt mounting thought, the T-PRO has adaptors so that it can run maggies. The only other upgrade is the tensile freewheel.Watch the cranks, they need to be as tight as possible.Make sure you get everything set up properly the first time, if the cranks come loose then they are knackered, another tip is to strip the bike when it is new, on my mates MAG, the bearings in the back wheel were dry, it just depends on what shop you get it from and who set it up. Make sure that there is grease on all the bolt threads, to stop them seizing up.Sorry to bang on but my cranks are now being replaced because they were run loose... second hand bikes. The Duck
Personally I WOULDN'T BUY ANYTHING FROM TRIALSSHOP.CO.UK! I've heard nothing but bad things. What ever you want, get it from here. T-Pro or T-Mag... Both are pretty good bikes in my opinion, I've just changed frames after having my T-Mag for about two years. And its done me pretty well. The geometry is nice for a first bike (i.e. doesn't feel stupidly short and heavy like a T-Bird or a T-Vee). The newer ones don't crack at the bash plate like the old ones etc. The T-Pro is equally good, a couple of my mates have had them. Good-ish geo and you have to try pretty hard to break one. I'm not to keen on the spec of the new T-Pro (V-brakes 'n' all that), and i think it looks a bit funny too. If it was me, I'd get a T-Mag or probably a new T-Comp! flas12345
hi matei would go for the t-pro as you said it is a lighter bike and if you already have the maguras for it then jobs a good en. i think that the t-mag looks better with the front disk brake but looks arnt everything as they say . i have a t-pro as you can see in the pick but if you did get a t-pro i would upgrade the handlebars and stem soon as possible because it gave me back problems but i get zoo riser bars and a try-all stem and iv never had it again.hope this helps you mate all the best in your riding
