Jed
what set up are you running? but in most cases tensioners are defiantly worth it unless you want to use half links.
tryin_trials
Im not actually running anything at the moment, the project starts in the new year but I've been looking a bits and pieces to buy and I never had a tensioner before and wondered if they are worth it. darrenhopper
I'm on a single speed stock bike at the moment. I use an old road mech as a tensioner. Just with the limit screws run in so it can't move. Works a treat!
Ghetto Rider
Hey,Yeah i'd say there worth it. I'm running single speed and use the DMR tension seeker mk II from tarty and it's looks cool and keeps the chain tight. Although i did like my rear mech and a couple of gears for long distance riding... Edited December 17, 2006 by Ghetto Rider
steve@banbury-trials
get a rohloff tensioner ,it may be pricey but it is so so much better than a old mech .i personally would say its stronger ,better working and better looking best add it to your christmas list quick
