The new Periphery teaser, it's insane. They are one band that is DEFINITELY going to be massive (in the scene) in the next few months/years.

Listen to the future right here, probably the most talented collective of individuals on the planet at the moment.

Insomnia Demo

Upon listening to the demo, I have to agree with this man.

This week, I have mostly been listening to wecamewithbrokenteeth, See You Next Tuesday, Venetian Snares and 65daysofstatic.

Thats sounds dead good tbf, i'll keep my eye on them. Quite protest the hero-ish.

On a side note Dale Gribble WeCameWithBrokenTeeth and See You Next Tuesday are ace.

Must say that is pretty shit mr circus, some of sounds exactly like Insomnium Gatherum aswell.

Listening to Death for first time in about a year, quality stuff.

By that I assume you mean Omnium Gatherum, I can't see the likeness personally, but that's up to you. If you had said Meshuggah with gayer vocals, I could see where you are coming from.I also checked out wecamewithbrokenteeth, I'm not so much a death metal fan myself and I can't stand the production on the stuff I heard, anyone who mixes drums like that has to have something wrong with their ears. Super talented though, the drums in particular are ridiculous. Also anything which contains bree is not good enough (see you later SYNT).

haha can't believe I typed that instead of Omnium Gatherum. Is just that some of the riffs are sounding extremely similar to them and other bands. In my eyes it's just yet another similar sounding band in a genre allready devoid of originality.

Periphery are sick, theres a lot of good bands like that about. My mate was talking (well, trying to shamelessly plus his band fell silent) to the singer from Misery Signals on their UK tour with august burns red, and he seemed to know a lot about the uk polyrythmic metal bands and already knew who they were which was suprising, so bands like that definitely seem to be getting better known.

Wow, I love FellSilent, I got their EP a while back and it's gotten quite a bit of play, also looking forward to their album soon (hit me up with an advance copy please!). The UK metal scene has gotten really, really good lately, I'm loving loads of new UK bands at the moment (esp. The Arusha Accord).

Yeah they're awesome, it's weird though as i still see tham as 'my mates band' but they're a bit beyond that status now really. I agree with the Uk metal scene, its pretty mindblowing at the moment.

Doubt i'll get an advance copy but i got a few sneaky tunes a while ago that were a possible for the album.
