liam_thornton
If u get two flat surfaces put the rotor in between them then put that all in a vice........if that dont work do the same but this time heat the rotor up
Mike Beck
1. Get two solid and even plates of metal/or owt thats flat, put ur rotor in between and park a car over the top of it overnight. or2. Get an adjustable spanner and slightly bend back the bent bit slightly further than straight to make it straight.then wash it in hot soapy water and put back onto the bike.cheers lewis Edited December 16, 2006 by lewis69
spode@thinkbikes
Have either of you actually tried that method? (using a vice etc.)Because usually you have to go past the bend point to get it to stick, and I would expect the same when used in a vice. I'd be interested to hear if it works! Muel
Just use an adjustable spanner, then you don't have to take the wheel out of your bike, or park a cr of it overnight...
Orgun_Donor
find a little lip in the road and stamp on it.... please note this is only for desperate times, but worked flawlessly for me
St_trials
Just move the caliper slightly, worked all of mine when they warped/bent
King C
If its still ridable then just leave it. I find that mine straightens itself after a while.
Dan6061
If it's a diddy bend that rubs slightly, then just keep pulling the brake hard, but all round the rotor. So spin it, brake hard, rotate it, brake...etc.
moza
With a little patience and an adjustable spanner you will have it straight soon as.
