Onza 2007 Bikes?

if its the RRP then its no real problem is it. as long as you sell alot still should be ok selling them at the current prices... whilst everyone else sells them for more.

however i suspect it was the cost price. >_<

personally i think if they were doing that they should have renamed the bikes instead of having to justify the change so much.. new model and all that.

the prices from 3/4 weeks ago showed £250 t-vee and £300.00 t-bird.

the new pricelist i received on friday was as stated in the original post. iv had a convo this morning with a few people and the new prices seem like they could be correct.

the bikes are deffinatly NOT expensive, like iv said to a few people on the phone, so what if i ride for koxx???? i sell 3/4 koxx bikes and 60/70 onza bikes in a year. so if anyone thinks im biased please re-consider your opinion.

i was only informing the forum/member of the trials community and NO ONE knew about it. hope this helps the people that it concerns in shops as websites and pricing will need altering. it saves people buying them at more expensive prices and selling them and making nowt on them (N) our site will be updated this morning.

You know what, i agree with Wayne FULLY on this, you are an arrogrant arsehole, who needs to grow up, and realise, your one of those people who bad things happen to, in a figure of speach.

doubled (Y)

BUT after somke dealers like ourselves at aire valley have had 40 odd bikes off moore large. therefore the 2nd delivery of 20 is a bit ridiculous how do you explain to a customer that the bikes "just went up £50"

thats a point. Especially if two next door neighbours buy a t-pro and one gets it cheaper than the other. That would piss me off loads. I suppose you could promote them as 07 bikes more to help selling?

to be honest though onza still have cheap starter bikes, even if they have just gone up £50, and they'll still sell for the same prices on ebay which is where they usually end up anyway

both RRP and trade have increased JT! :)

they havent stopped selling, its just a warning to onza dealers, beware that if you had a "1st drop" like us, the 2nd drop will be invoiced different. we've had 85/90 onza trials bikes over the last 6weeks. 35 have been 2007 t-vee,t-bird,t-pro and t-comp.

Btw i hope your chain snapps again. I actually LAFFED MY ASS OF AT YOU! TWAT.

ok, i might be an arrogant arsehole, who needs to grow up, but from the quotes you used, what proof have you got that i am.

Most people on this forum than i have met and rode with in the past seem to like me and dont think i am an arrogant arsehole.

maybe you should get to know me before calling people over a little forum. i dont any more. not without a valid reason anyway.

And for your information wayne, i usedf to think you were ok, and still do. i think your an awsome rider, but you just seem to make an argumenyt out of everyhting. and i know i dont make it better but i dont try to make it worse.

if someone else sadi exactly the same as me you wouldnt of gone off on one at them!

xxxxxx

You're sponsored, and as a result you are a representative of whichever companies are sponsoring you. Therefore, if you appear to be a total dick on here - which to be honest you kind of are from most of your recent posts - then you're not really helping yourself or the companies you ride for? It doesn't really mean anything if "most people" you've met from here "seem to like [you]" if the majority of people here that you haven't ridden with think you're being a knob? People shouldn't judge people from what they're like online, but the fact of the matter is that they do.

The trade price hasn't gone up so you don't need to put your price up its just a recommend retail price we had some in at our shop but due to managment problems they back. I work below onza hq so my info is reliable. Only if the trade price goes up dose it effect how much money you can make per bike.

Trade & Retail have gone up (Y) due to import as a full bike rather than how supercycles used to do it.i think i got told they tax you more if you import for example "a bike" fully built as it doesnt give an english person a job, example "building that bike up" but if you bring in "parts" and an english person builds it the cost of the import duty is less. therefore saving money.

i was in your shop waynio, checkin the bikes as i usualy would. To be honest, i'm not right happy with the way the bikes look this year, the tpro actually looks like a polished turd... the spec is poor, COMPARED to last years... but i recon they'll still sell, most people rate onza as a good company, excellent bikes for the prices, but there a tad ott with them this year. they'll soon find out though when they dont sell as many, but! just recently, loaads of youngens have started trials around us. check all the new members out posting in the shipley glen ride in the new members chat! now thats what i like to see. so i dont think onza will have much of a problem if trials keeps progressing like it is now :D

Personally i think onza were always good for money ( only bikes ive ever had) i don't see why more conpanys don't stock them , maybe we should get halfords to stock them im sure a couple of trials bikes in each store wouldn't do them bad compared to all the crap bmx's them do.

It'd cost them around £250,000 to stock with t-birds + building costs + admin work + advertising, let alone t-pros in all 420 odd stores...or near that price depending what the trade price is.

Also, its a bad idea to let massive companies stock them, it wipes out real bikes shops in days. Look at Tescos Vs. Local shops.

Does sound a lot for halfords, but its a freaking big gamble to take.

Fair point but it could be a special order thing we could do like, cause we can get the saracen trials bikes , and virtually any kona bike, so i don't see why we couldn't put that in the little catolauge of bikes stuck on the desk in the back of my halfords store, yeah its a rather large risk but seeing the amount of people riding base bikes in ilkeston it might be worth a try.

Anzo!!!! (Y):D thats what has happened to the bike trade, its on its arse (not badly) but it is T*TS up cos of big companies like halfords with loads of stores, and just knock that extra bit off to go one over on someone if onza went into halfords it would ruin the brand. halfords dont even know what a trials bike is (most of them, i know some people off here do work in halfords) but the general "management" and like owner of halfords is not interested in something that makes "small time" he wants big time, he wants to buy hundreds and thousands.

Like Anzo says, halfords dont need onza, they can get hold of koxx if/when they need them i thin majority of koxx stuff is "insurance claim" as they are a big insurance replacement place, like wheelies and terry wrights. its hard to explain over the internet. but usually the customer comes out the worst off :(
