clinicalymad
Does any off you rate the leeson trial bike, could do with some of your thoughts, keep it clean
Tommy d
Yep, I do, but I don't have one. I just want one. I think they look nice, and you can have various customisations with geometry, mounts etc etc so you have the frame exactly how you want. You could try specifying which particular Leeson you're thinking of so that people that actually have them can reply... nmt_oli
I have recently purchased a 2nd hand Leeson Clear 660 (the std 26" model).I absolutely love it, but it depends on your riding style and bike preferences. Im more of a streety rider than a natural/big move rider, and i love old school bikes - i dont get on with these long and low bikes at all. They are good quality, with good service and very individual. some of the design features of the frame are clever, and i like how simple they are. I find all of these reasuring. Its definately improved my riding.
Broomer
you cant beat a good old short steel frame, for streety moves and riding i rate them very high.
John Shrewsbury
Hey mate, Clive has made a range of bikes Leeson660 26inch, leeson609 24inch, also a 20inch mod and the bmx old road.Me and (rich, double disc leeson) Have been in talks with clive for quite awhile about two new frames, me and rich want to design.Rich is going for a great comp frame, and i've designed a new street frame.Hopefully these will be alot different to the other frames, clive has made. Also will have names to them too, and be signtured. They will both be 26inch, and will hopefully be made and setup around mid JAN.john
Christophe'
No other company would spend 4 hours of their time building your bike with you after buying the frame.Clive did.Top class English passion!
clinicalymad
cheers guys its all sounding rather like a good idea to buy one, I like the idea of a steel framei guess that stems back to the days when i was brought a bright yellow chopper in the 70s, ,) what a bike now thats retro!! I know you said it was gunna be kinda UCI style, but I was expecting it to be more like a steel version of the aortas. There any reason for the high dropouts with a V break?
