tryin_trials
I'd like to add in I'm actually a Special Constable, so I have more power than a PCSo but I don't get paid!!But aswell as being a trials fan, I have also done the police mountain biking course, (can you believe they make you do a 3 day course on how to ride a bike!!).The bikes aren't bad, and have a fairly good spec, whenever i'm out on patrol I often go to the local spots for trials and bmx-ers and have a chat and a bit of a go.What others have said about the ones that walk around like they are in the FBI or something is true, some of them do get a real power trip from the whole thing and think they are un stoppable and in my experience they do come unstuck later along the line!!Luckily the ones I work with are all ok and have never had a problem with the local bikers. anzo
I hate police, mostly due to the ratio in which they've helped me...ok, we got into a fight in McDonalds with some guy, he caused it all, smacked my mate and then WE got kicked out of the place and the police didn't do anything at all.Secondly, we got stopped for having no lights on our bikes, he was writting a fine out for foster and then a guy cycled across the square with no lights on...we pointed him out and the cop pretended not to see it.Thirdly, we were sat outside Tesco, no bikes just having a drink (coke) and then some cop comes up to us and takes out name and adress and then tries to tell us we have to go home because there was a curfew on where I had to be home by 11pm if I were under 18 (17 at the time). We said it was bullshit and we would know about it if there were such a thing. So then he threatened to arrest us and take us to ripley station, so we left. On the way home I rang Ripley HQ and asked about this 'curfew' and was backed up that there was no such thing. I complained about the cop and the sargent rang me to tell me he had bollocked him ect.Fourthly, I recieved an anti-social behaviour warning for having no lights on my bike...apparently. The night in question when 'I' was spotted, I wasn't even out! I argued it to the police and they never replied or anything. Therefore, in my conclusion the police f**k me about no end. It f**ks me off when I get stopped in the street for riding a bike when over the road there are a million people gathered around, drinking and generally being wankers.I accept, some cops are fine, although It seems that around Heanor, they're pretty useless. Fair enough you can agree with the comments like 'they're only doing their job', they're not doing their job, thats not the way the police should work (going on what happened to me). CJtrials
in my area we ave a few different ones, one of them is a total w***er and the others are not too bad although they still don't let you ride!! They complain that we spoil the walls with out sumps but we tell them that they should go into the park and sort out all the chavs getting stoned in there. We tell them that the only reason they pick on us is because they don't dare face the chavs!!! haha
