Seat Or Not To Seat

Personally i find it better to have no seat,

As a mini seat is a bit pointless because its very uncomfortable and just gets in the way

when i removed my seat i found it allot easyer to get up large obstacles as you can hug the bike more when bunny hopping and landing.

Try it and see what you prefer (Y)

if you've got a frame thats seatless thats cool, but if you've got a frame that takes a seat i'd use a mini seat. okay there not as comfy as a proper saddle but it means you've got more room, and i reckon it looks pretty cool aswell. one more thing its better 2 land on abit of plastic than cut down frame (tubing),

Ever heard of low downtubes?

If one must travel distance's,Then it's recommend to have a seat. But if you just ride your bike for trial's and nothing else,Then it's best to have no seat.

just get a proper seat, they look better, are nice to sit on and its nice to have something to push against with your legs when balencing, especialy on streety moves, it can help protect your magura crossover too. Depends on the bike. ie a seat would look pretty bad on a zoo

I think trials bikes look much better without a seat.

Most trials bikes that do have seats are really hard to pedal whilst sitting down, so it defies the object of it.

I would only have a mini seat in, if I was going for a long ride to somewhere, and you can sit down and relax when you go down hills.
