abtrials
well there is not really much point in a mini seat really you cant sit down on it for to long and it is just as comfy to sit on the tyre (with one arse cheak )and it looks better without a seat (on most bikes anyway)
dano
if you have a frame with the option of havin a seat id have one i think it looks lame with the seat post hangin out jst cut it down so the seat sits real low to the frame. a mini seat with paddin does nicely! powerz
Personally i find it better to have no seat,As a mini seat is a bit pointless because its very uncomfortable and just gets in the waywhen i removed my seat i found it allot easyer to get up large obstacles as you can hug the bike more when bunny hopping and landing.Try it and see what you prefer
gianttrials
if you've got a frame thats seatless thats cool, but if you've got a frame that takes a seat i'd use a mini seat. okay there not as comfy as a proper saddle but it means you've got more room, and i reckon it looks pretty cool aswell. one more thing its better 2 land on abit of plastic than cut down frame (tubing),
nickyw
one more thing its better 2 land on abit of plastic than cut down frame (tubing)Ever heard of low downtubes? If one must travel distance's,Then it's recommend to have a seat. But if you just ride your bike for trial's and nothing else,Then it's best to have no seat. bushby207
i knw a mini seems pointless but...i ride 26" and use the mini as a leg rest.. it really helps
26inch
just get a proper seat, they look better, are nice to sit on and its nice to have something to push against with your legs when balencing, especialy on streety moves, it can help protect your magura crossover too. Depends on the bike. ie a seat would look pretty bad on a zoo
steve@banbury-trials
i prefer no seat ,i personally think trials bikes look better without .steve
adam trials
i ride with an old skool onza t-rex which is designed to have a seat but i cut down the seat tube and sanded it down because not only does it look better (in myopinion) but it is alot comfier to sit one leg on the frame than on the mini seat
jonny_smith
i prefer no seat, i've tried with and without on my t-rex and i think it looks much smoother without one and it helps me get the bike into me more when bunny hopping it all personal preference really
Willsey
kneel on the frame.. its more fun lol
mad max
My shooter looks horrible without a mini seat. I have never thought of cutting the seat tube down.
Captain Scarlet
I think trials bikes look much better without a seat. Most trials bikes that do have seats are really hard to pedal whilst sitting down, so it defies the object of it.I would only have a mini seat in, if I was going for a long ride to somewhere, and you can sit down and relax when you go down hills.
