RobinJI
I am hearing what people are saying. But I still think that the 2 pistons would be better, as long as the biting points were adjusted to match, and there was some deliberate flex in the system then it should work fine. The thing with the 1 piston would be as said above it would be a lot more expensive to make, if one break failed they both would, and the chances are one of the breaks would end up being lazy and retracting after the other, meaning the breaks would rub lots and feel kinda crappy. The absolutely ideal system would be to use 2 Hope mono trials or similar, running off one lever with a piston the appropriate size. As the self adjusting pads would solve the main problem of lazy whole breaks.I'm really liking the idea of a dual axis lever, and I think it would definitely be possible to make. And might not even be that much more expensive.Anyway, I'll let Luke speak. It's his break anyway. I was just drawing up some plans for what he asked for.
