JT!
I think we can offically say when people refer to the t-comp, they mean the 07 one. Not the old one.The t-comp frame seems to be the same as the t-pro frame. So really you should be looking at the components rather than the frames. The t-comp is a better bike, but obviously more expensive. So it's budget dependant really.I'm forgetting what year it is.The new t-comp and the new t-pro frame seem to be the same as the old t-pro frame so it dosn't really matter. Muel
The 2007 T-Comp is different to the 2007 T-PRO, it comes with a tensile freewheel, the new Onza cranks, (replacing the muscleman's) and it also has maggies, The 07 T-PRO does have maggies mounts but has V adapters on top.The T-Comp is also a nicer colour. RobinJI
Basically the only advantage the 07 T-Comp has over to 06 T-pro is the cranks, freewheel and a disc mount on the forks. Other than that there basically the same bike, just with different rims. Although neither rim set seems to be better or worse. So if I remember right there's a £180 price difference. Its just weather you feel the cranks freewheel and disc mount are worth £180.Edit: shit sorry. messed up my maths. its only a £80 price difference. joe b
To be honest, matey, I would just go for the 07 T-Pro and with the extra £180 that you could have used to buy an 07 Comp treat yourself to some decent upgrades . That would be my plan of action and it would start here... Tarty BikesCheers,Joe.
Waynio
or buy a sale bike from aire valley............ and upgrade it SAVE even more. altho we only have one left.the new t-comp is better than last years t-pro, better/nicer cranks, tensile freewheel as standard so for the extra £30.00 from last years t-pro well worth it.if you HAVE to have magura's then the t-comp is the bike for you if your not bothered bout magura's go for a t-pro.Waynio.....................
