Mark W
Their usual advice is just "Post early to avoid disappointment."However, that doesn't cover the fact that 90% of their staff are pikey twats who'll steal whatever you're sending anyway... Tony Harrison
True. A lot of them round here are immigrants on work-permits who don't speak very good English, which I'm sure contributes to the problem, plus people who were reluctantly dragged off the dole to help out. Last week my replacement creditcard went missing, which I'm not happy about...Still, we know what it's like on this forum. People complain about things not arriving the day after they order them... Simon
The day after? More like on the day.People live in a world of Futurama.

Mark W
When I lived at home, everything worked fine. That was in Mid Wales, which doesn't really have a rail network, shit transport links, etc. Stuff always arrived next day if it was first class. Here, I've had an envelope ripped open and £20 taken out, a mobile phone stolen, and now it looks like 50 pin-badges from Tomturd for Style43 have been nicked. On the odd occassion they actually don't just nick it all, it takes at least an extra day to arrive. It's a pisstake considering prices have gone UP, it's like the rail network where despite a drop in service, prices have again gone up. Nuke Bowel
I will ask my dad when he gets home good old posty.I think he was saying though, they are sending all of the 1st class post as normal, allthough if your sending 2nd class they are holding on to it for a few days.... RobinJI
Bit annoyed with the fact a cheque sent to me didn't arrive today, considering its just a piece of paper and was sent on Monday 1st class from Hampshire to Somerset. It's only 2 counties across.
