eskimo
The public are a general nuisance i find. The happy old guys who are 70+ tend to be alright though. They are cool to have a chat with.

abtrials
yea, only the other day we had a bunch of chav's spotting line for us to try i don't really care bout people watching my self but a few of my mates feel it is vital to show off, one mate in particular, when girls are watching (you know who you are Ghetto rider :$ )and one of my other mates always has to pull off a helicopter spin off of a wall, when people watch, we have now re-named that move the tim spin

Muel
The other day this old lady who lives round the corner come talk to us, now my mum knows her cos they worked at the same school. This old lady, forgotten her name) was 90this year, we went to her party. She was riding her usual bike along as she has all my life, but rode to buxton from my home town in new mills and was on her way back. thats about 7miles on the road and is proper hilly. And she isn't bothered with us stratching walls and stuff when she sees us riding, where as we are always getting shouted at and stuff by people telling us to go and ride up some hills on those mountain bikes and put our seats back on our bmx's and go to the skate park... One guy seems to think he is the countryside ranger and always shouts at us. I have found that the best way to get rid of them is to say, "yes, we know we arn't supposed to be here, but we going to do it anyway," and usually he pisses off. In the summer one took a swing at a mate with a walking stick. but then they have well and truly demolished one wall Edited December 12, 2006 by Sheringham_trials
ben
i tend to like it when people watch nice to see sombody enjoying what were doing and seeing it for the effort and commitment we put in does rub me up the wrong way with the same questions all the time (seats etc.) but as long as there not trying to annoy you there ok. i do show boat a little like do the tricks they normaly like like drops for some reason they love them.ben. luke_onza
When I go out riding I get lots of people how come over and watch most are young drunk and loaded. So as a clever young boy that I am I make bets with them. E.g. if you ask me to drop of a wall onto a can and I do it they give me money. It like getting paid to ride. You should try it sometime. luke

Dave Lowe
You always get people watching in kent where i ride most, i like it though because i do demos its good to see what kind of reaction you get & i normally get chatting to them about trials so as to see what feedback they give me. I would say for me its more about knowing your customer basis

Fixed Pantsâ„¢
ITS NICE TO GET CHATTIN BUT IN THE SUMMER WHEN YOUR RIDIN SPOTS ARE PACKED THEY JST GET TO BE AN ANNOYANCE TO ME. ESPECIALLY OLD FOLK! COUNCIL AND THE LOCAL CONSTABULARY!TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK. I don't normally go off my road as i live in a dodgy area, but when i go out out to other places, some people do watch us, i don't really have any problem with it, it's just annoying when you get chavs etc trying to call you over so they can nick your bike... Captain Scarlet
I don't really mind if people are watching, It doesn't put me off.I like the old guys who come along and are amazed by it and are smiling at you as you do it, some nice people about. Then again there are the Chavs who sit there and laugh at you if you fall off, I mean I'd like to see them do Trials, and jump back on the bike and do the trick again successfully.
