db-t20
Anyone know what the Monty 219 Alp rides like and how it keeps? as i am about to order one, a bit of a change from my DB-T20 lol http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2120
Fixed Pants™
I'd say get a T-Pro as Montys are way over priced. And the T-Pro is 25 quid cheaper.Keep the maguras from your DB and put them on the T-Pro and you're away. eskimo
The t-pro is better equipped but the spec is tbc. Which makes it an uncertain decision over which bike. The Monty looks the part though especially in Scothbrite. With vee mounts some may say it 'makes it worse' but vee brakes still rule. As you have Hs33's already then you could fit them to the t-pro i guess or with some evo mounts to the Monty. But why waste those loverly mounts on such a brake? As you have guessed i like the Monty. Yes it needs some upgrades but it still wins for me.

eskimo
if im about to spend nearly £ 400, i want to spend it wisely Don't worry which ever bike you buy i'm sure it will break just after you get it. Happens to all of us.The point being, have you looked into second hand bikes?A 221pr for £300? As an example. I know you can't post. But can't you pm? liam_thornton
They ride really nice apart from the gearing is really horrible, so u might want to get a new set of cranks and a new back wheel..... my mate also had the old one and he bent the bars and one of the crank arms
