craigjames
hey my pads are being posted out after wating for about a month. if you do want to get in touch with steve use his email, as he can read it when he gets a chance, he's much more likely to miss a phone call. whenever ive emailed him he's got back to me within the next day or so.craig
future orange 660
so when he has time to check emails, why doesnt he post the pads? not that hard to post a batch of pads that he has sat in as stock whilst each of those people is waiting desperatley for them. Luke Rainbird
Steve does his bestAnd the office (well, wherever the pads may be kept) probably isn't the only place he can get his emails...

Simon
I have the highest of respect for Steve, wouldn't like what i am about to say effect our friendship, nor peoples opinions of me.However, it seems increasingly like Steve just can not keep up, what with pads taking weeks to arrive. Fair enough, throw in an extra pad or what ever to say sorry, but when it comes to doing that for every order, one has to start asking one self "can i really continue this".Soon, the image of Heatsink pads will just be clouded by super long delivery times and compensation requests, and i for one don't want to see that happen to Steve.Meh, said what i wanted to say. Si-man
he should stop all orders of pads, and give himself time to make up a large batch of pads. (say 100 pairs)best way.
Christophe'
To be fair, im not desperate for them. Its just the , 14 quids been taken out of my account bit i dont like.yes i Know thats how paypal works! No response to my emails? although freinds in the same town have been in corespondance after mine?sorryjust has got my goat.............along with stupid car insurance

The fact that the website clearly states 1-2 days for delivery means that anyone complaining about not getting anything after two weeks is perfectly reasonable.I agree, steve seems like a totally sound guy, I cannot stress that enough, but the time it takes for him to dispatch order's really is taking the piss somewhat. Of course he's got me because I love coust pads, and the quality of his seems to be far superior to what anyone else can offer (apart from michel coust himself, but they are 35mm versions.)I appreciate that he has other commitments, family and such but all he has to do is put on the website that delivery is slow, but then perhaps he wouldn't get as much customers? Regardless, it needs to be sorted one way or another otherwise like you said, he'll get a shit reputation...

But seriously, I want pads! lol Some of you can say it's only £28 pound, But £28 to a 15 year old without a job can be alot!I know that if he puts on his site that delivery can take upto a month he will probaly get less orders but in all fairness, 1 - 2 days is bollocks. ogre
never dealt with hsb but you've got to remember it's christmas. post takes longer, he's probably got shitloads of orders. along with family stuff to sort out (god i hate christmas) i agree with the suggestion of stopping business for a while and mass making pads for while
anzo
Somehow, I don't think anyone in their right mind would make 2 pads everytime they had an order from each individual, especially not with something as little as pads. The 'time scale' is rubbish, in 5 hours in a week he could cover a lot of orders, and also build up a reasonable stock to cover himself for a while, if he can't put that time aside, he shouldn't be in the business...however, I'm in no position to jump to conclusions on this.Waiting 14 days is taking the piss a little, I don't know the guy and he's probably as souns as, but thats still no reason to take so long. I'm sure you'll get them, the guys got a reputation to uphold, and is obviously 'well in' on the trials scene, to into it to mess things up. Walleee
Another thing to keep in mind, the blue's are moulded, they don't need cut, just glued. To be honest they are such a good fit they don't even need glue to fit in powerpad backing's.The coust's are cut, and I think the snowy's are also moulded.and ogre, this isn't anything new, I had much the same problems when I ordered my pads a few month's back.....No doubt as soon as steve sees this he will reply and get them out to you asap, it's just how things are but like you said £28 is alot of money for anyone when it's being spent on a few bit's of rubber. CurtisRider
i dont think he hand cuts pads get with the timesread on... the blue's are mouldedThe coust's are cut, and I think the snowy's are also moulded.ahhh, well all the pads ive had from hsb have been hand cut, except for 1 set of red things, but i seem to remember talking to him at the abingdon dj ride and him saying that he still has to cut alot
Token
Is my first order and a week later haven't got my pads, guess thats nothing to some people having to wait upto a month.Be nice to atleast get an update of what's happening.Still, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. Walleee
The blue's I got were moulded, very nicely, while the coust's seemed to be hand cut. Im sure the processes do differ occasionally, but i'd imagine once he's got a mould and can get them done fairly quick, there isn't much point in cutting them physically, having said that the moulded ones wouldn't fit in CNC backings without being cut.... Ash-Kennard
liams pads took 5 weeks with no compensation pads, pips took 4weeks to come with heatsink snowys, it varies. but he is obviously so consumed by work that his spare time is zilch. if your that bothered buy some koxx bloxx
Walleee
What confuses me even more, is that he was looking at the topic earlier today, and didn't respond as he usually does.....

Heatsink
Hello Steve's wife here Tracy, I am sorry for replying but feel I owe people an apology as it is my circumstances and that that are causing the delays to some of your pads. I have browsed this topic today so sorry that was me on here earlier, Steve is hard at work and is in every free moment he has to catch up on any back orders and prepare stock for you guys in the future. I don't want to make excuses because at the end of the day they are our problems and not yours but I hoped by posting I could just explain and hopefully you would understand that Steve is working very hard for you and is very concerned about any inconvenience he causes to you. He tries where possible to offer fair compensation and respond but of course his time would be most wisely spent catching up on orders rather than emailing and posting which of course delays the making process and therefore dispatch dates. I am very near to my due date and due to our attempted house sale and purchase I have been struggling with my health, trying to organise paperwork, full time care of our 1st son and the physical strain of being pregnant. Steve is an amazing father and husband and has been doing everything to support me which has unavoidably taken some of his time away from HSB. Our immediate plan is to pause the pad orders on the website and catch up on any back orders. We will also create a stock and then only recommence selling when we can promise to meet delivery dates specified. Again please accept my sincere apologies Tracy
