First of all, I'm glad everyone seemed to have had a good day yesterday and that so many people left with so many good memories. Thanks again must go to all those who helped in some way. You know who you are.

The one question that cropped up more and more yesterday from people was; When's the next one going to be? Well, hopefully not too far away.

But to make it even better than the last one we need everyone and anyone who was at the trial yesterday to give us feedback; what did you like? what didn't you like? Was the format of the trial OK? Should there have been more sections? Should there have been less sections? etc, etc

Any complaints, compliments, questions, anything you think could help us to make the next one even better, please post it down here.

Again, thanks to everyone who came to ride and made it such a worthwhile day.

Rich

I think it was pretty spot on Rich.

The sections seemed about right for each ability group, the layout was good and was well impressed with how it all went. Everything was organised really well and attracted people from all over.

Was good to meet some new faces as well, always good to put tf names to faces and all that.

I can't really think of anything at all that I would change, starting the layout must have been hard from scratch so top job with that.

All in all a fantastic day, well done too all the organisers.

Look forward to the next one (Y)

yeah that was probably the only prob, exeter being a bit out the way. Still, glad we came

and yeah as everyone has already said, can't fault it at all to be honest. just wish i brought a map instead of sunglasses

umm i honestly cant think of anything. Will be going again, but not too soon. Give it a few months so that:

a ) i can save up a bit

b ) if you have these events too often they wont be as amazing. if you get me :S

good stuff, a high point was that all the sections wer close to each other - you didn't have to walk ages to get to the next section (Y)

nice layouts! glad i didn't try any elite routes, looked difficult as fook! specially the start of section 6 with the logs :o

i had a good day and was reasonably happy with my riding on the day!

good meeting a few people too :)

Will

p.s. BRING ON THE NEXT ONE!

Trials needs more events like this. :)

Definately a fantastic day for the sport, was amazing to have such cool things to ride on, as well as a massive amount of spectators. As John said, it was great to have the sections with different obstacles, I've been wishing for an indoor mototrials-style event for ages!

I can't wait for the next one, more of the same please!

Also pleased with joint 4th with John. :P

Some input/constructive criticism that the people who attending probably won't give you (seeing as though it seems like they didn't have problem getting there ;) )... As the trial seemed to be a huge success, in all aspects, if the whole format of the trial was just transferred a bit more north then you would have an even bigger success because more people would be able to get there.

I hope this thought is considered for the next one as i would very much like to be there :) .

Cheers,

Joe.

oh my god it was f**king immense, basically perfect, the only thing next time should be the gap for spectators between sections because it was hgard to get from one section to the other.

had a really relaxed atmosphere till we started, we started it got serious, we all finished and the fun atmoshpere was back and it felt more like a big street ride than a comp.

awesome day, see you all next year i guess then

A very good point you make Joe, hopefully other clubs around the country will now follow West Of Englands lead and maybe next year we can have a winter indoor series.

lets hope so.

Dave if you want any help or advice with running an indoor comp then just ask. Next year as I was saying to you at the comp we want to hold a whole series if you are seriously intrestead then keep in touch.

I will be nice if we can have a three round series next year and if you guys up there want to hold a round atleast they wont be all down this way.

Just got the latest on the gate recipts and we had 140 spectators through the door, thats not including riders family. This is really what we want, the more general public we get to events like this the bigger our sport will grow.

I had a great time!! I am REALLY sore now though.

The sections were great, the people were great and the over head heaters were hot (especially when up on the scaffold section!)

I rode like a muppet though, got 41 dabs instead of the 6 that I should have got :(

The after comp ride was ace too, got loads of lines I am happy with especially cleaning the log section UCI style, well chuffed with that.

Hows your head mr bessel? that flair you tried was nuts lol

went and rode bristol in the rain on sunday but I think we were all too tired and we didnt ride long.

I have some footage on my camcorder, but unfortunatly my computer blew up last night so I am using my parents machine and it doesnt have premire (or msn (N) ) so it will have to wait.

I thought the trial went extremely well i enjoyed it very much, i think there was just the right amount of sections and the sections were well laid out, i would definitely enter the next indoor comp i just hope there will be one soon,

a BIG thankyou to all the guys that set it all up and did the scoring etc, well organised, but i had to leave early which sucked so i don't know what place i have come, is there any results been posted on the net? or is there any that is going to be sent to each rider?

regards

tom
