hi, i dont think you can beat hydraulic rim brakes, they give the best feel and have the best stopping power. If you have a set of HS33s set up properly with a good set of pads on suitable to a ground or unground rim, they will be a more agressive break than anu V-brake and most disc brakes.

You will not go back to V-brakes once you have tried HS33s.

Iam sorry to be a little mean,But my bullsh*t detector is going off in your direction.I ran a hs33 on the front on a grind and it was poo.Ive now switched to vee on the front and it is fookin awesome.Go and try and say that hs33's are better than most disc's and vee's to people such as ali c or paul oliver.Yeah some people might prefer hs33's(I do on the back)....But you cant say there the best brake's going. :ermm:

Alright mate

I would go for the pair as I decided to put one on the back and maybe put one on the front if i didnt like the v but noe i am stuck as i cant afford the front hs33 and my v brake aint working that well so i am not gettin some of the moves that i want to try and learn. hope this helps.
