Muel
I have seen a few bikes with HS33 hoses in various colours, and was just wondering whether anyone has them and knows where to get them from.
ted
I have seen a few bikes with HS33 hoses in various colours, and was just wondering whether anyone has them and knows where to get them from.Alot of people buy the clear hoses and put food colouring in them to change the colour. Clarky
Ive had a few, not as good quality as standard maggie hoses, but the good thing about them is that you can see if you have air in the system.Jason

Muel
Thanks for that, I'll go and have a word, but how would I know if it is the right sized hose?
gianttrials
hi, i think you might be better off getting braided hoses, as they look good on any trials bike, and they're gonna be alot tougher than standard hoses. gotta be worth considering.gianttrials
Si-man
Does anyone do wedges anymore? Like in that Coustellier nottingham vid. Go to a hydraulic suppliers and ask for some hosing with the same internal diameter as the magura hose (can't remember size)Can get alsorts of hosing, just make sure its not thin as you will end up slitting it. Braided hosing with kevlar reinforcement is good, but not cheap
ruckus_street
Goodridge braided steel hoses come in various colors - silver, black, red, blue, white, and i think green now too, as well as coloured harware - black chrome, silver, gold, and probably anodised blue and red
Muel
I had thought about goodridge, but they are a bit pricey...I have spotted some braided hose on supercycles:http://supercycles.co.uk/site_details.asp?ProductID=396But they don't seem to stock the crossovers... but then i though why not just buy two rears and cut to bits off the end of one, and use the fittings I already have! But then I wondered how hard is it to cut? So i thought I'd ask. The only downside is it isn't Lime Green, but you can't have everything. One More thing, has anyone replaced the barbed connections on their crossovers with olive/shroud conections and can this be done, i just thought it might be harder to break the hose this way

Muel
I would try that, but I'm not too keen about using hose that isn't designed for the job.good idea though
