It's a Shimano Sora if that's what you meanif you don't use gears, i.e run single speed then you would be best off having the chain tight enough to have the mech against the chain stay, then put a cable tie around the mech and frame so it don't move at all. 531joshua Posted December 9, 2006 Report Share Posted December 9, 2006 Or...If you have gears, then I suggest you have it so the rear mech arm is pointing in towards the front chainring at about 45 degrees from the chainstay. That should be nice and tight, make sure it's not too tight though as it could effect how quickly the casset/chain wears down and how the gears change etc.Cheers, Josh.
