Mark W
If you don't run a booster, you're asking for trouble. The constant flexing f**ks aluminium up. Damage to aluminium frames is cumulative, i.e. every bend, flex or stress adds up (which is why some people prefer steel). Every time you've pulled your brake, you've been stressing that join, and it's broken. It happened to some Pitbulls and Vincos too, so it's not just an Onza-specific thing.RB boosters are so flexy they don't really stop chainstays moving either, but to be fair, the T-Comp was never really that nice a frame so at least it gives you the chance to upgrade

So it's not exclusive to aluminium as mark kinda suggested. Steel tends to bend rather than snap. Had that been steel I seriously doubt it would have happened really but meh. im talking crap and want to go to bed now.
Mark W
Ah, my mistake. I thought steel had a small amount of 'give' where it didn't actually fatigue the metal, and Ti had an even greater amount of 'give' before it fatigued, like 10 times higher than alu or steel or something along those lines... matt rushton
I'm pretty shit anyway its not as if it's been used everyday , there is a huge dent on the downtube and no sign of that cracking just the cracks previously mentioned, its hardly been used aswell, as ive been mostly on the bmx or jumpbike. I got the frame in july if that helps.Well i don't think its too bad £60 for a frame that has lasted you 6 months. If you used a booster it wouldn't of flexed as much so it probally wouldn't of cracked. The other lad with a cracked t-comp, is it just me or is it only bolted in at one place?Matt Rushton
Muel
If you need a cheap replacement, go back to ebay and buy a T-PRO frame from their store and put all your bits on to that.
