Fork Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi all

When i was removing my brakes today ready for my new ones i found that the front forks are v brake fittings and not 4 bolt does this matter.

I have a pair of onza tuff guys that are 4 bolt but they are heavier is it worth changing or does it not make that much difference.

please help i'm not quite sure what to do now.

thanks

dan

yeah just get some evo mounts thats what iv got on my ashton i think there easyer to set up than 4 bolt mounts.

What are evo mounts i think that might be what they came with sre they black plastic things that the top 2 bolts go through and they go aroung the back of the fork.

I might just put my tuff guys on :) i know it sounds sill y but how do you get the old ones off i know you undo the bolt at the top of the stem and the to bolts on the side then the handle bars and stem come off then how do you get the forks out after they seem really tight in there :S

I've got some if you want... PM me... or msn: flipp@flowflys.co.uk

E-mail sent :)
