chrishayton
the 30d is a brilliant camera, however the new 400d is half the price and the functions are similar. no need to spend 800-900 quid when you can get the 400d for 500 with a lens.the 350d is the older version of the 400d and you can pick them up really cheap now.also a nikon d80 is worth a look ( around 700 quid)
F-Stop Junkie
It all depends how cheap you want to go. If you're just getting into it, then the 400D is a better bet than the 30D.However, there is a 6MP cheapy cheap cheap Nikon out soon which should be cheaper still. Tom_
Nikon f50? depends what you mean by cheap.
Rob_P
U mean D50?There is the new D40 which is out and that's pretty nice. Nice big screen but the disadvantage is it only takes AF-S lenses. So the 50mm nikon f1.8 and all old lenses won't work on it.
