They have to say Merry Winter Festival or some crap like that. Seriously does my head in. I mean who is it offending. i dont get offended when ramadamn is celebrated, so why should anyone from a different religion get offended from merry christmas. Sorry if i come accross as racist here but that fact is if you dont want to be around chrismas during this time of year, then why the f**k be in a so called christian populated country. Why should we have to alter our own ways of living in a christian bred country just becuase other religions have moved into our community. I think the problems are politians. They dont think they just do. I guarentee that if you asked all of the other religions living in this country they too would also agree that this is just stupid.Sorry about this, but it just gets me fuming! Discuss.. I think the problem is bleeding-heart lefty wanker politicians - you wouldn't catch matey from the BNP banning christmas would you? - he's a politician (of sorts). What makes me laugh is that they didn't ban easter, pancake day or any other christian festival you care to mention. They pick christmas (cos it's the one all non christians want to get involved in but can't do because it's a christian holiday), change the name to "winter gift giving and general commercial exploitation festival" and bang! the heathens can have turkey too. If I had any national pride left it'd be hurt but frankly the last dregs of that dribbled down my leg and into the gutter the instant Cherie stood on the doorstep of number 10 in her dressing gown and looked surprised to see photographers. Well i think its just her school, but last year there was mumers of it happening at other schools i just never knew if it actully did happen or not. As far as i know there hasnt been any complains, think there was a little article in the local paper about it. People are just too scared that they may be offending other religions. Aparantly they had actually had people complain that satff were still saying merry christmas despite the pub being 'converted' to winter festival. Its f**king rediculous.Ah well, we get our own back i guess.... 10-15 people walking down the street at 11.00-12.00 at night leaving the pub singing we wish you a merry christmas at the top of our voices evens things out a bit.Its the ones that talk in indian/jiberish'ati to each other in quiet public places that does my head in. They come and live here, why speak silly tongue? Its like the height of ignoranceand a prime example is the security staff at my friends uni halls. They get weed off the black residents, and in return the residents get to bring in as many people as they want overnight. Then they almost make up for it by being overly strict about white people having friends round. A group of seven black guys went in and the guards didn't even get off their seats, two white girls come in afterwards and both guards are up out of the guard room and asking them for i.d's and to show they have keys.
