ramps Posted December 6, 2006 Report Share Posted December 6, 2006 someone should make a bike with dual front discs just for the novelty factor.Would be sh1te on a trials bike but truelly nuts on a DH bike.I've seen it done, some guy home made it for his son at that comp in Wales that was run next to a downhill race. Badboy Posted December 6, 2006 Report Share Posted December 6, 2006 someone should make a bike with dual front discs just for the novelty factor.Would be sh1te on a trials bike but truelly nuts on a DH bike.Going back in the day, X-Lite made a DH frame which had dual disc on the front ( we are talking 96/97 here) And I remember seeing in MBUK an advert for a company who made dual disc forks an all the bits to go with it, pipe splitter etc etc.It never caught on in DH so it wont in trials, there is no need for dual disc up front for trials. ogre Posted December 6, 2006 Report Share Posted December 6, 2006 i thought your meant to lean your bars into the sidehope (where you most worried about mullering you disk) so ladnign on the rotor should be a problem really meh seems like a lot of hastle that would cost more than the occasional rotor...
