Si-man
USE THE SEARCH!
Token
Yes they both sort of work, tar wont do that much of a good job in the winter weather, it'll just turn to oily mess, and hair spray doesn't last that long at all. So jump in and get a grind. Sorted. USE THE SEARCH! having a bad day? Edited December 3, 2006 by Scopse

stug45
get a grind and grind specific pads and you will enjoy it, although anyone hearing u ride wont like the noise!
Badboy
Tar = noisey as hell in the dry, you can put too much on an the brake pad will stick, washes off in wet/muddy conditions.Brake spray = pretty good, doesnt last very long, squeaksHair spray = dont even go thereSpray mount = (i have tried it) grabs like hell, but again pads can stick on!!!!!Rim Grind = Noisey (varys depending on pads an severity of grind), works in all conditions, doesnt wear that quick.Grind ***Get a decent grind on your rim an some good pads, the softer the compound the shorter the pad life, and you will be good for anything. dan the trials man
when you say noisy do you mean that trials squeak or a horrible noise, i love the trials noise i have grinded rims and they don't make a sound what pads make lots of noise and is great in winter conditions?thanksdan
