future orange 660 Posted December 3, 2006 Report Share Posted December 3, 2006 i am doing a project at the moment at college which requires chain to be fitted to a bike, but the chain must not be split. will be used single speed so please no full sus e.g. orange. although are these single stays used on any hardtails?another one i thought of was the new onza mod. any others that people know of or any ideas that have not yet been tried?cheers. Fish-Finger-er Posted December 3, 2006 Report Share Posted December 3, 2006 nope, sorry, sold it to some gypsies for £80 6 years ago(and the frame was around 5 years old then, to give an idea of how old the design is). however, i do remember an article on the design in mbuk, basically slagging off pointless inventions in cycling. that was one of them, but the design was used on other frames, i think in the article it mentioned a cannondale with the same design. might be worth flicking through ur old issues to see if its got anything.
