RobinJI Posted November 30, 2006 Report Share Posted November 30, 2006 If you're a weight weenie then got for the Pro II front hub, despite being larger, it is actualy a lighter design. And only like £10-£15 more if I remember right. And the bearings are loverly, had one one my freeride bike since I got it and its been perfect. max-t Posted December 4, 2006 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 The echo bearings are actually very good.They are infact japanese bearings.I have a echo non disc front hub and its mint.The bearings are really smooth andthe hub is very low profile and lightweight.No problems since ive had it.(last Christmas)The Hope xc hubs are also very very good.I have had two of them and neither of them have broken.Except for when i cracked the flange , but that was after loads of harsh riding.If they do go wrong thoughHope are very easy to contact and they will repair your hub sometimes free of charge.Max...
