Matthew_Gibson
My pro two has been no problem since I got it about 3 months ago. Before that i had a hope Mono, Its used to skip at least once every ride, sometime just noticable and sometime it hurt! But my pro 2 has yet to skip. has a nice sound to it so. all in all its a really good hub. mines second hand too.! Matt!
Joe Papasnap Maher
Beacuse your king is skipping...doesnt mean its broke lol.clean it out...
Matthew62
Mine skipped regulaly when i first got it, but after a couple of months bedding in and settling down its hassle free. I used to be concerned about hubs skipping because whatever hub i was using before the pro2 always skipped, especially my last hub which was a bulb, but since the hub has settled down i can safely say i dont even consider or think about the hub skipping now as it just tends not to happen.I would reommend one. Ali C
I have never been as confident in a hub as I am with my hope, in my eyes is is the best hub out for trials! its never skipped in the 9 months I have had it.

NirZionTrials
Beacuse your king is skipping...doesnt mean its broke lol.clean it out... yea its clean, and its been worked on 2 times by the shop, still every now and then it skips.other then that the importer in israel stoped bringing king hubs, so if it brakes again there will be nothing to replace it with or fix it with Edited November 28, 2006 by NirZionTrials
chrisatactiv05
should call your hub chris kaching!, lol
Prawny Baby
personally, i wouldnt want to change back to a hope hub after 4 years riding kings....theyre just in a TOTALLY diffrent league IMOalmost all the pro2 hubs ive had a ride on have been known to skip, some badly, and we have seen numberous hub shells split clean in half.....dont bother, its like selling your ferrari to buy a ford escort..... both may be good cars, but really? youd have to be mad! Gandalf the Yellow
yea like the others have said, service the king first, if problems still persist then you could sell it and consider the cheaper/ less hasssle pro2. i have 2 on different bikes and they're both excellent and has not yet failed me. only skipped like 3 times since i got it months ago, and only when im riding around/waiting at traffic lights etc.they're good stuff.though i have seen a real-life bad-batch of them where the hub body just cracked in half.steve
abtrials
pro 2 all the way mate, they are the dogs bollocks. i have been riding mine for 6 months with no skip and no sign of it skiping at all, my mate has had one for the same length of time and his has never skiped once. they are the best hub out at the moment, and you never have to worry about servicing every time you ride also, when you think of it like this it makes so muce sence? = you can buy 2x hope pro 2's set up onto onza hog rims for the price of a Chris King hub well do i need to go on........
