It would be ok if you twat it in with a rubber mallet, the problem that you may face is it going in wonkey, which will indeed feck the frame... if you're gonna do it, aquire a metal pole the size of your headset (the inner bit so it can go through the hole) and use that to help you guide it. N.Wood Posted November 27, 2006 Report Share Posted November 27, 2006 You can make a headset press out of washers, nuts and threaded bar.Or use a vice and 2 bits of wood.Or use a mallet.Whichever way you do it, take it slow, and make sure it goes in straight or you risk flairing the headtube.
