A!!
Basically after owning an xbox 360 from christmas last year, then having it break and getting a replacement (which also broke), i ended up getting a full refund for it. And i have been without a games console for a while now. But now it's coming to dark, wet and windy winter months, i need something to pass the hours of boredom. So i am considering getting a console again, but i'm undecided on what to get. I did like the 360 when i had it (apart from the lack of good games), and now it has got some really good games on it like gears of war, i'm considering getting another. But i'm not sure wether to wait for the update on the cpu in 2007, which should make it more reliable by making it run cooler, or to just get one now. And i know there is a few people that have 360's on here and seem to have no problem with them. Or i might wait for the Nintendo wii, but as good as it seems i'm not so sold on it. As i like to play games more for realism and graphics as well as having fun, but that isn't what the wii is really designed for, it's just for pure fun. And i can see my self getting pi**** off with it, when i can't be bothered to start dancing round my room or pretending to have sword fights, sometimes i just want to sit down and relax. So i am just after a few opinions, and suggestions on what to do . Edited November 26, 2006 by huck_it

It has frozen twice since i have owned it, partly my fault. seems as though you have had bad luck i would stick with it, if it happends again get you refund and get a ps3 when the time comes. Olly C
360's got some top notch games now, I've owned mine since day 1 my launch model did start going wrong so I had it replaced but the one I've had for 6 months or so now has been totally fine. They've done lots of updates and stuff to it already via Xbox Live.I'd say its still worth buying one now, if it breaks in a year you can replace it for the new one? but as I've said this ones been fine for me and the models have changed since launch software-wise though I guess the hardware is the same or atleast has had no big changes.Theres a massive selection of A Grade games out now spanning all the Genre's so its bound to cater for most peoples needs now Olly.
