Concussion
When I use good pads with a maggie it judders and bites, when I use crap pads there is modulation but no real bite. A disk seems to have modulation and great bite with no judder. So yeah, go for the disk...... also looks cool ! :$
Ghetto Rider
disc all the way for the front!! not only does it look good, its more reliable and also lower centre of gravity so technically it should be easier to bring the back end up when doing stuff to front...hayes all the way!! Dan6061
I used to have a front HS33, with Koxx Browns. It didn't have the lock I wanted, even with a grind.I changed to a 160mm Avid BB7, and it was brilliant front the start!Had modulation, but still locked up when I wanted to.Recently changed to a 165mm Hope Gothic rotor, and it's even better now! - More lock. The whole bike vibrates when I slow down using the Avid though...

peterjamesbailey
hi mate,at the momment i am running a magura loise witch in my opioum is much better than a maggie. it has exerlent stoping power provideing it has been bedded in prpoley, and it works in the wet ,also u dont have two worrie about grinds and bleeding it every week because you have a water bleed, disks are the way to go but it depends on what rocks your boat!
