Whats The Width Of An Average Handelbar For A Mod Bike?

Hey guys

i Use Zoo on my stock, should i use the same on my mod?

i have a monty 221ti 06, and the handel bars that came with it are 640mm, on my stock i have a zoo 740mm.

my question is if 740mm is too wide for a mod bike?

on tartybikes the montys Ti 07 handelbars are 660mm...

No..... Monty's are 680. Unless you've cut your's down, do you really think your zoo bars have an extra 5 cm's each end?

Zoo bars have an extra inch each end over the monty's. To put zoo bars on a 221Ti would be the gayest thing you could do.

are you saying 680mm is good for a monty?

and all i said is that now i have on the monty 640 and compared to the zoo witch is 740 its 5 cm on each side.

what do you recommand?

The monty bar and stem set-up is perfect for the 221Ti, I really wouldn't change it

The differance between Monty bars and zoo bars is 2 Inches

Monty 27" Wide, Zoo 29" wide.......

I used to run montys they felt quite nice but then wanted something abit wider so i got the zoo bars , they felt abit long so i cut them down to 28" and they felt perfect .But im currentley runnin normal sized zoo bars as the 28 wer on mi old bike n i cba to cut them down n they feel pretty good its up to you really , i would just keep the bars youve got.Or try them cut down to 28"

I have Zoo! Bars on my mod, seems fine.

27" ones I think. - Pretty sure they've changed recently?

I think Zoo bars would be alright on a mod. Tons of people run try-all 29er bars on mods, I used to run 30" bars on my mod.

It's all personal preference, I prefer the 26" bars im currently running though.
