I am quite suprised its taken this long to have this style of hydroformed tubes on a trials frame, they have been used on other types of bikes for donks now. Its not that exspensive either, some new Da Bomb bikes have big welded hydroformed tubes and they are dirt cheap. This koxx does look a little more complicated than the da bombs though.

How does hydroforming work?

I'm not sure if I like it, from side on i quite like it but from the other angles i don't :S

Stick an annealed (soft condition) alloy tube in a die the shape you want. Then fill the tube with water and pressurise, it expands to fill the die. Its a godsend to designers who like curves :)

But what people forget is that it actually weakens the material in some areas and not in others which could be bad news but knowing Koxx it's proberly been well tested.

I like it nice to see some new intresting shapes out there even if it is purely asthetics you've got to admit most of us are bike pimps.
