Hah I'm mega noobish at skate as you all saw, only rounds I won was where I was doing small tricks whilst everyone bailed trying to go big. =D

Did you land the Christ Air frontflip Dan?

Is anyone on COD anygood at no scoping?, im practising but only in free-for-all and my kills to death ratio has gone down loads lol so is there anyone that can add me and giving me some help and stuff please.

Steady aim perk is a start, all my mates say its easier with an ACOG (don't ask me why if your not using the scope but they are insane at it).

The semi automatic rifle may be a better choice for close range stuff, whilst the bolt action obviously being distance.

The secret to no-scoping is an ingenius method my friend introduced to me the other day, that is that where your gun aims is always the centre point of your screen.

So when it comes to not using the scope, you don't know where the centre of the screen is, as you don't have a scope.

Simple solution to that is to mark the centreof the screen with a piece of blu-tak, (you want it about the size of the red dot on the red dot scope)

To find the centre of the screen just pick a sniper rifle with standard scope, or a gun with red dot sight that doesn't move, aim the gun and you've found the centre.

The ACOG is complete crap. Red Dot is where it's at. Nothing more, nothing less.

And that blu tack trick is for n00bs. I was doing it on Counter Strike years ago - when I was 13 :P

Does anyone here have COD on the PC AND 360? I'm considering buying a 360 (Obviously not just for cod) but I have COD on my pc and its amazing. I'm not sure if i'll be as good with the controls on the xbox? And FPS's in general.

yea ive got both, as for which is better, its hard to say, PC's better as a all out first person shooter, but for casual gaming between friends, playing online and not being too serious, and for a console shooter, cod4 on xbox360 is the future. got it on both, since i got it on xbox like 3-4 weeks ago, i aint played it on the pc once.

but if your thinking about buying a 360 do it, fable2 is out soon. which will be amazing.

but as for xbox360, you can get so many cheap games that are good online and to play alone, rainbox six vegas2, skate, cod4, graw2,gears of war etc can all be had for like £15-20. and then you can pick up stuff like PGR3, amped and the like for like £4-£5 in game blockbuster etc, these days, and £4 is bugger all for the entertainment you get.

Yea I've got both.

My dad has always been the PC player and hated it when it he tried it on xbox (I guess he is just old), but mainly I think he liked the mouse and keyboard, rather than having limited buttons, as he said he found the controller hard to use (aiming with one trigger shooting with the other, where on the pc its a click to aim and you don't have to hold it).

From my personal experience, I find the Xbox bettter, as everyone has the same set-up so there is no unfair advantage of one person having a faster and more effective computer than you.

With my PC set-up, the graphics on the computer version is much better than the xbox, much more defined, however I can easily say that the xbox is smoother (not running smoother, but when you turn around for example the frame rate is much better and therefore smoother).

My preference is the Xbox.
