Which Mod Forks Do You Suggest?

Hey people i have got enough money to gt some new forks, and i was thinking ko-bike black disk forks to go on my gu typhoon.

But i was also thinking about the gu typhoon forks but no where does the four bolt and disk apart from tarty but i have just read that they dont do four bolt and disk and they dont know when they would get them in stock so what forks would you suggest that i get?

I would get Echo lites. There lite and strong. And cheap.

But the thing is about echo lites is that i dont like the reversed maggie mounts and i want something with mounts on the front and its got to be disk + hs3 so if my disk brakes i can switch and put my maggie on !

I have heard Monty forks are good.

Yeh i will try and have a go on someones monty at the next comp and see how their forks feel but will they look ok on a gu typhoon lol ive never seen that been done before

In theory, the 'reverse' mounts will be work better, as the force from the brake is going into the forks, not away.

So it'll be stronger?

I've got some Echo Lite's on my Zona, and they're fine. Bearing in mind I don't do any taps and hooks, so I wouldn't be able to tell you that they're uber strong, not at my level of riding anyway.

Ye get the echo lites with reverse mount the brake is amazing there stiff forks dont seem to be creaking or owt yet so id say get some

Reverse mount's look fantastic on mod's, just sound's terrible when using a front grind, really grabby, good comp brake, but with no modulation, that's whey I went disk.

Cool but when i went on tarty and clicked on GU forks is says avalible in disk or four bolt for now?

does anyone know if there bringing Gu forks out in disk + four bolt mounts becasue i have a disk but if it brakes and i want to put my maggie back on i wont be able to so i would like a fork with four bolt + disk if possible if anyone has any suggestions?

i suggest that you should get the zoo python 07 forks because they are very strong because of the thick steerer tube also some of the top riders use them like craig lee scott.i also have a pair and they are very good.

i would say try the monty 221ti or 221pro forks, they are the same as what you want and the221pro forks are only £60 bargin . however if you have deep Pockets get koxx forks way nicer .

Yeah in the end it will probabley go for ko-bike black ones or echo lites but im not sure yet anymore ideas anyone?

As i keep sayin if my disk brakes i will have to change my forks ova to my old ones to run my maggie so i need a fork with both maggie and disk so if my disk goes wrong i can quickley zip my maggie back on

get the 06 echo lites from tarty bikes i think that they are on offer and i don't think that they have the reversed maggie mounts.

The ko-bikes forks are brilliant, They are avaliable in black, silver and chrome, also they have your 4-bolt mounts and disc mount which you want.
