shorty
hi i'm interested in getting new rims, i really like the look of the try-alls. Does anyone run these rims, if so are they strong and worth the money. Or are there any better rims on the market. Thanks Josh
5.0 Rider
The try-all rim is a good rim. In my opinion, it´s strong, but the aluminium is very soft, and you have to grind very often. Other good rims are the Alex DX 32 or the Echo 07 rims. Bye
Tom Perkins
My mate has them and he isnt a smooth rider. And he runs very low pressures in his tyres. But yet he has not dented them yet, and has had them a while. In my eyes these rims are the ones to get.
shorty
I'm going to run my rim smooth because i can't be bothered to keep grinding rims. Not really interested in the alex DX 32, but the echo's seem nice. which ones stronger.ThanksMy mate has them and he isnt a smooth rider. And he runs very low pressures in his tyres. But yet he has not dented them yet, and has had them a while. In my eyes these rims are the ones to get. Does your friend ride street? Does he do gaps and drops?Cheers
Tom Perkins
Yeah, street is all he does. Harsh drop gaps and the lot.

jim-p
they are amazingly strong and they also don't flat spot easily some of the top riders use these rims i advise u to get these rims. i also use these rims aswell and they are very strong Edited November 23, 2006 by jim-p
Nick Garland
I personally have found them to be cheese like. 2 hours and it flat spotted, yes I ama heavy rider, the echo 2007 rims are far stronger, also hold the grind better. No they are not the same rims, they are different for once.
David20
They are a pretty strong rim, 8 dents on mine now but I have had it for nearly a year and I do drop gaps etc quite regularly and Im a harsh b*****d. So yeh I'd reccomend
darrenhopper
I'm riding a pair of Try All s at the moment but haven't had them very long (maybe a month on the rear & a fortnight on the front) Been doing some fairly big drops & gaps. There hasn't been a sign of a problem yet.

shorty
hmmmm... I would definitely go for the Try-All rims but theres a rumour going round, well i say a rumor... 'Fugigas' seems to think that front Try-All rims are made of a cheese-like alloy, so aren't worth getting 'cause they'll just break. Is he talking out of the wrong hole, or has he got a point? Cheers for all the replys anyway, much appreciated. Josh
James@swanseatrials.com
i currently baught the front and rear try all rims matey and they run lovely, but as with all drilled rims your gonna have strength issues!
ChrisB
apart from the fact that there soft i think there great.
Savage
My wheels stay true without needing much adjustment. If you dented or broke a TRY ALL rim I am pretty sure that any rim would have failed under the same circumstances.Ben.
bionicman
try-all rims are very strong i done a 6.5ft gap and rimmed out and got a tiny tiny flat spot very strong other wise I would advise you to get one
