Can You Get Re-threading Tools?

have a look in the screw fix magazine they only cost about £20 for a set of tap&dies and they are gd quility or just go to your nearest enginers shop they should it for you. i hope i helped. <_<

you dont want to re-tap it.

get an insert

thats what i did anyway just because

i didn't have any 5mm threads.... (Y)

EDIT: just involves drilling it out, popping the insert in and squirting some stud lock in it.

My mates dad has one. There very easy to use. I think they will sell them in any hardware shop. :)

wti fasteners, they will send in the post the sameday for next day delivery.

Do not put thread lock on wire thread inserts as you will lose the mechanical advantage gained.
