Jonny Jones
Basically Ashton has been in touch to say he needs an article for HipHop.. or just an article I think. So I propose, if you're free, head to Portsmouth this Sunday... theres already a ride posted.Ive posted other info here - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....t&p=1097867EDIT: By street ride I mean a normal meet - not street bikes (ie sus and SEATS lol).Jonny. Walleee
Your asking trials forum members, to attend a street ride for MBUK?Maybe these threads passed you byhttp://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=87088http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=87126I'd imagine it'd be more of a punch up than anything if some of those people get to it..... perhaps ashton won't be attending in the interest's of safety Are MBUK starting to do loads of trials items again then or what? seems to be the case recently..... Jonny Jones
Theres no need to bring anything negative into it dude haha! To be honest ive let those threads and the whole 'clothing' saga pass over my head. Anything Trials in any magazine is GREAT news for the sport. J. This Sunday is the 26th and thats the date on the Portsmouth thread so im pretty certain there is a ride.J.
Tony Harrison
See, if it had been me, I would have asked about 3 or 4 friends to do it. I know big group rides are popular (well, they wouldn't be big otherwise...), but I liked the articles in MBUK like Martins vs Rey, and that Newbury/Reading one. Perhaps if it was the 3/4 people you rate most among your friends, it'd be showcasing their abilities outside of the usual 'audience' (i.e. us).Just my 50 pence worth anyway...Jake - point taken, but if a rider (i.e. Jonny) is being asked to do this, then surely it'll be an article from 'our' perspective - perhaps why he's been asked? Walleee
Ill be the first to admit I don't really care what's said in MBUK, but for them to ask trials - forum, who they know they've pissed off recently just seems a bit weird, but indeed perhaps they are trying to make amends....Meh, im probobly just bitter that I never gt to ride with a group of more than half a dozen.... Jonny Jones
I had no idea about Aidan's death, so sorry! Mart didnt ask the forum, he asked me to get some people together, the forum is the best way to do so I recon. Obviously you dont have to come just thought it be nice to get a few people out. Be great if some of you can come but obviously if you planned on going to Aidan's memorial ride then thats fair enough, hope its a sucess! If you plan on coming, Guildhall (us usual) 11am, as quoted in the Pompy thread.Jonny.
